Lee Sung Kuen, born in 1954 in Seoul, is a prominent artist and educator who graduated from Hongik University where he taught for 30 years. He balanced his personal artistic endeavors with his role as a professor for three decades at the university and provides consultancy for the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art of Korea, contributing significantly to both the academic and cultural landscapes in South Korea.
